Rivian Software Wishlist

I am constantly adjusting my AC fan speed. It would be convenient and faster if the speed adjustment was always visible in the bottom task bar rather than having to open all the climate controls, change the speed, then close it.

Like almost all other SUV’s to have a feature when you come with both hands full with packages to open lift gate without the need of pressing the button,

Add apps for entertainment while charging: YouTube, Netflix, etc. Video streaming, local video over USB, games and more are all options. Having local storage powered options would make sense and be on brand to the adventure vehicle market. Or, to stay on brand, a digital version of the Parks or Wingspan board games.

When stopped at a Red Light, have an audible alert when the light turns green.

When parking the camera page should automatically pop on when an object causes a proximity alert.

When you toggle the turn signal, have the blind spot camera enable on the Driver's Display to help with lane change.

Please add an option to select a Ambiente color

It would be awesome given these vehicles were designed to adventure if the nav either had off road trails or there were a native integration with OnX or Gaia GPS

Enable V2H (Vehicle to Home) bi-directional charging capability over from the CCS port. And verify to current R1 owners this will work with their vehicles. This is part of the current CCS spec ISO 15118-20:2022 Road vehicles — Vehicle to grid communication interface — Part 20: 2nd generation network layer and application layer requirements https://www.iso.org/standard/77845.html This is a major environmental win for owners to be able to skip having large home backup batteries and aligns with Rivian's mission. It's also a huge win for owners to save money by reusing batteries that are in short supply and environmentally damaging to mine the materials for.
